Sonar Ruler: Privacy Policy

Sonar Ruler does not collect, store or share any personal data.

• Microphone. Sonar Ruler uses the microphone only while you measure, to hear its own chirps and their echoes, or the other device's chirps. The sound is processed on your device as it arrives. It is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere.
• Motion. The motion sensors only tell the app which way your device is turned, so the screen can match. Nothing is saved.
• Your readings and settings. Readings you save, and settings such as units and temperature, stay on your device (and in your own device backups, if you use them). Deleting the app deletes them.
• No accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. The app has no sign-in, shows no ads, contains no analytics or third-party code, and makes no network connections.
• Sharing. If you tap Share, the App Store link goes through the standard iOS share sheet to the app you choose. Sonar Ruler doesn't see what you share or with whom.

This website

sonarruler.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ads. Its fonts and pictures come from this site, not from other companies. The demo video on the home page is YouTube's player, in its privacy-enhanced mode: it loads only when you press play, and from then on YouTube's own privacy policy applies. Like any web host, Netlify handles the requests that deliver these pages.
